CLAIM THE STAGE AND MORE is Spark Youth Theatre's short performance festival where young people from Sydney's Inner West can pitch, develop and present their own short works with the support of professional artists.

Calling all young people between 12-18 who want to find out where their ideas can lead!

With the help and playful provocations of Artistic Director Chris Dunstan and local theatre maker Carly Young, participants will be exposed to different types of performance and storytelling before each develops their own idea for a short creative work. This could be a short play, roaming performance, piece of live art, film installation, game or something else. And whether you want to perform, use your imagination behind the scenes or both, the group will come together to help realise each other's ideas in a showcase for the local community at the Ashfield Town Hall.

CLAIM THE STAGE AND MORE is not just for young people who want to be onstage. It's for anyone who wants to grow in confidence and creativity by claiming their own ideas and sharing them with others.
