SparkXChange

The SparkXChange program provides free space for artists to develop, refine and rehearse independent projects. In exchange, we draw on the expertise of these artists in assisting Spark in a way best suited to their interests and experience (as negotiated with the Artistic Director).

Whether this is facilitating workshops for our young people or helping Spark reach out to the inner west community through administrative support, Spark offers artists an insight into community arts while supporting their independent practices and a vibrant theatre, arts and cultural scene in Sydney more broadly.

This is a quick response initiative and is open year-round. Please apply at least three weeks before your intended residency period.

Submit an EOI by clicking the ‘Apply’.

ExpRESSION OF INTEREST

We are now taking expressions of interest for space bookings for 2019.

Please submit your EOI via the online form. EOIs will be assessed on a continuous, ongoing basis.

All creative disciplines and backgrounds are welcome.

Our dedicated development and rehearsal space for artists is the Graham Yarrol Room located in the Haberfield Library complex.
